Window and Door Service Technician
Beissel Window & Siding’s continuing success and growth have created the need to expand our staff. We are searching for a full time Window and Door Service Technician who has experience in window and door installation, carpentry, and remodeling or has worked as a glazier.
The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Perform and complete service tasks on a variety of types of windows and doors, including wood and vinyl windows, storms doors and windows
- Install/replace glass in windows or doors
- Repair and install parts, including sashes
- Repair screens
- Caulking
- Ability to diagnose and solve problems on the job
- Provide customers with useful information on the operation, care and maintenance of windows and doors
- Provide a good service experience for Beissel customers
- Verification of measurements of windows and doors
- Experience wrapping windows a plus
- Willing to work on large and small projects independently and as part of a team
To be considered for this opportunity you must have the following:
- 2-3 years of window installation, carpentry finishing or renovation experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Problem solve and offer solutions to the customer
- Customer service experience
- Willingness to learn and to seek out help as needed
- Ability to perform all duties in a timely manner
- Experience with painting and staining a major plus

Trim and Framing Carpenters

We are searching for a full time Shop Assistant with the potential to grow into a full-time installer.
To be considered for this opportunity you must have the following:
- Some familiarity with both trim and framing is a big plus
- Possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- A focus on customer satisfaction and quality work
- The ability to be a problem solver and manage multiple tasks, appropriately prioritize responsibilities, and work independently.
- Experience in the proper use of power tools and equipment.
- Successful experience in working within a fast pace environment.
- Possess Lead Certification or willingness to obtain.

Shop Assistant/Installation Apprentice
We are searching for someone with wood staining and painting experience – or a willingness to learn a new skill. The Shop Technician role is a full-time shop assistant position with the potential to grow into a full-time window and door installer.
You will help prepare everything needed for installing windows and doors at customers’ houses, including painting and staining wood trim, unloading trucks from vendors, and loading materials for installations. You also will have the opportunity to apprentice with our experienced installation crews – some of our team members have been installing windows for over 30 years. We have been in business for over 70 years, so we have decades of experience in the industry.
The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Painting and staining wood trim needed for installations
- Picking up supplies from vendors
- Delivering project materials to job sites
- Training to help with installs
To be considered for this opportunity you must have the following:
- Experience with painting and staining a major plus

Sales Consultant
Beissel Window & Siding is a family owned and operated business with 70+ years of excellent customer service. Our sales team develops customized home renovation plans while delivering unparalleled, personalized service to every Beissel customer. You will work directly with customers to meet their home improvement needs by helping them select windows, doors, siding, roofing, and more.
The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in the home improvement industry.
We are looking for someone who has the following qualities:
- Experienced sales consultant who is knowledgeable in multiple areas of home improvement and comfortable with in-home sales
- Organized, goal-oriented sales leader with attention to detail and a focus on customer needs
- Driven and experienced self-starter who enthusiastically communicates the value of the Beissel Window & Siding team
- Highly motivated and outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Disciplined individual who is constantly learning and refining our sales approach and processes
Responsibilities:
- Follow up with new and existing customers, schedule meetings and lead showroom and in-home sales presentations that educate customers on the breadth and value of Beissel’s services
- Identify customer needs and develop collaborative solutions that bring their visions to life
- Negotiate contract details and close sales
- Manage multiple projects throughout all stages to ensure customer satisfaction
- Proactively maintain and submit contract details and orders
- Attend team sales reviews and training meetings, with a collaborative focus on sharing successful strategies
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with other team members
Qualifications:
- HS degree or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree a plus
- Driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to measure accurately using a tape measure
- Functional Tech/Computer/Math skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to safely inspect for storm damage including on low to medium slope roofs
- Selling hours will include mornings, evenings and weekends
